Anyhow, onto my opinion on current events, I hope you come to a validated logical opinion when vo[link] don't fall for the media-bias(although most media major networks overwhelmingly having a very strong liberal bias, fox news can have a slight conservative bias at times so it does go,to a very limited extent, both ways). Vote with whomever takes what you deem as the stances most beneficial to yourself and and what you deem as the stances most beneficial for the economy and the nation as a whole.
Also, I am not voting for Senator Barrack Hussein Obama, but retired Navy Captain Senator John Sidney McCain. Despite what many, especially in the left wing of things, I am not a racist, and my choosing to vote republican is due to these key issues:
1. I prefer the tax policies of Senator McCain to Tose of Senator Obama. His, as he himself stated it, "spread the wealth around". Being a staunchly in favor of big business, capitalism and free market economics, keeping the money you earn, I do not believe that those making over 250,000 a year should be taxed more. I also believe that McCains Tax cuts for the corporations, although contributing to the wealth of the wealthy, will help facilitate growth, giving corporations and CEO's the ability to hire more workers or invest in other commmercial benenfactors to the economy without losing that income that their "greed" loves so much, where if they had to lose some income do those things, they'd probably keep the income and forget the investment or hiring of more workers.
2. I do not like Senator Obama's Health Care Plan, as I have never been nor well I ever be, and advocate for the increase in goverment, save the Military and during times of total wartime mobilization when such measures are vitally necessary. Although Senator McCain's Health Care Plan will tax employer benefits, unless you have the "Rolls Royce" of healthcare, with the tax credit, you will come out with more financial ability to acquire coverage, I.E. you'll get taxed a set amount, and then get more than the amount your benefits are taxed in a credit so the difference will cause you to have more money for healthcare than before. I am not a big advocate of more taxes, but I also know that uninsured Individuals or those will little coverage are not good for the economy.
3.Although the extent of Senator Obama's Relationships with some shady figures, such as slumlord Tony Rezko, Terrorist Bill Ayers, and Revrend Jeremiah Wright, are not clearly discernable(partially from conflicting statements and information from himself and from others as well), I do not find it very appealing that he would even associate on any level to any extent with any of these men whom I would not dare shake hands with, and although it is fairly key in my reasoning against Obama, it merely reinforces my current position. The main reasons, as aformentioned in the previous two listings, among others, are the reasons that caused me to take my current position.
tthat's three of my reasons for voting republican. If you wish to know more, I have many more reasons to back up my republican positions.
